For Months now we have known that John Wesley Shipp would be in the new Flash series, but all we could to was speculate who he would be playing.
After all of our waiting, we get to see what the hero of the 90’s Flash TV series has in store for us next.
producer Greg Berlanti has confirmed which role Shipp will play:
“Given his history with The Flash, [executive producers] Andrew [Kreisberg], Geoff [Johns] and I could only think of one person we wanted to play Barry’s father and that was John Wesley Shipp. He gives a fantastic and emotional performance in the pilot and we are looking forward to his presence in many more episodes.”
Shipp is a talented actor and we are very excited to see how he will portray Henry Allen.
