On the heels of the cancellation of both the Phantom Stranger and Pandora ongoing books, DC Comics has announced an ongoing book that will combine the two of them and bring the Question into the mix. This trinity of sin, first introduced in a 2012 Free Comic Book day teaser for the Trinity War, features a trio of egregious sinners, Pandora, Judas Iscariot and a third unnamed man, cursed by the “council of wizards” with immortality and other curses depending on their particular sins. This new series will be written by J.M. DeMatteis and illustrated by Yvel Guichet, and will launch in October, alongside a great deal of other new series and creative team changes by DC. Little has been said about the focus of the book, though DeMatteis has teased the Question’s resentment toward the other two members of the team as a potential catalyst for interpersonal drama.
