The creators have been working on “The Flash” for some time now, introducing the character of Barry Allen in Arrow and using that show as a springboard for a solo series.

The Flash has been officially greenlit by CW, meaning they liked the pilot. There has been so much fan support leading up to this, that the pilot would have to had been awful for them to not take the show on, but if the quality of Arrow is any indication, this will be a great show.
